Age: Approx 6 months old
Size: Small - looks like a Corgi
Temperament: Mellow but still very nervous at the moment. Happy and bouncy when with the other dogs.
Dogs: YES! Honey loves to be with other dogs and her ideal home would be with an existing dog to help her grow in confidence.
Ideal home: Honeys ideal home would be in a house with a quiet lifestyle - perhaps a retired couple or someone who works from home. She will thrive best with another dog for company.
More information: Honey is good in her crate overnight and loves nothing more than a chew toy. Her current favourite snacks are carrot and apple! Her foster mum has helped her grown in confidence and she has now walked on a lead, wears a collar and has let her give her a bath. She is a lovely girl who needs time and patience after her experiences in the public shelter.
Please note: Honey is still very nervous and so is not yet ready for adoption as she needs more time with her current very experienced foster owner where she is growing in confidence every day. Her adopters should be prepared to give her time to get used to her new surroundings and not give her too much attention for the first couple of weeks.
